About Mollie
A Passion for Design and Printed Products
Hi! I’m Mollie Fish. My love for design started back in the ’90s, tucked inside my parents’ print shop, Jiffy Print, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Growing up around stacks of paper, the smell of ink, and the constant hum of presses shaped the creative side of me long before I realized it. Even during my years working in the medical field, I never stopped designing; it’s just part of who I am. Today, I’ve come full circle with my own studio, Inky Pixels Designs, still partnering closely with my family’s shop—now run by my brother David in Otsego—for my printing needs.
When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me tending to my ever-growing collection of over 150 houseplants. Yes… 150 and counting. My current pride and joy is a variegated syngonium chiapense—one of the more unusual plants in my collection—and a beautifully variegated rhaphidophora tetrasperma that I absolutely adore. Learning how to keep all of these green beauties thriving is what inspired me to create my houseplant care cards. That hobby quickly spilled over into my digital art, and many of my prints are influenced by the colors, shapes, and textures of my indoor jungle. I currently sell these pieces, along with my other plant-themed designs, at Mason Jar Plant Shop in downtown Kalamazoo, where I also work and happily enable fellow plant lovers.

Another huge source of inspiration comes from my four pets—my constant chaos crew. There’s Chalupa Batman, a tiny teacup Yorkie with a larger-than-life name courtesy of my husband, Matt. Linus, my Yorkie/Havanese mix, found me while I was on vacation in Florida; I ended up shipping my clothes home and carrying him onto the plane instead. Lucy, my orange kitty with attitude, was my mom’s beloved companion—I brought her home after my mom passed, and she’s been part of my heart ever since. And then there’s Wally, a rescue cat who is convinced he’s either a small dog or a tiny human.
My family is a big part of my world. I’m married to Matt, and together we share a beautifully blended crew: my daughter, Mackenzie, and his two daughters, Avery and Ryan. They fill our home with plenty of laughter, big personalities, and endless support for all my creative projects.
Naturally, all of my pets have been turned into digital artwork. Creating those pieces for myself is what sparked my custom pet print offerings. Everything I create is done digitally, and seeing people light up when they receive a digital rendering of their own fur babies has become one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
At Inky Pixels Designs, creativity, heart, and a whole lot of color drive everything I create. Whether I’m designing custom home renderings, pet portraits, plant-inspired digital prints, or houseplant care cards, my goal is simple: create meaningful pieces that bring people joy.
I’m so glad you’re here—let’s make something beautiful together.
